Andrew Clark's Success at Greensboro College

December 2008 - Congratulations to Andrew Clark, a member of Ottawa St Anthony Italia program for a number of years, on his continued success playing on scholarship with "The Pride" at Greensboro College, NC.


Passing of Souleymane Gagou

January 2008 - We were all saddenned by the loss of one of our Men Premier players and friend, when Souleymane Gagou died of complications from pneumonia at the young age of 26. Gagou played many seasons with the Ottawa St. Anthony's Italia and was a key member of the 2006 team which won the National, Provincial and CPSL Canada Cup titles.

2006 Mens National Champions

October 2006 - Congratulations to Ottawa St Anthony Men Premier for becoming the first Ottawa team to win a Men's National Club Championship. This team had a spectacular season capturing the Ottawa OCSL title, the Ontario Cup Championship, the Canadian Soccer League Open Canada Cup, and the Canadian National Championship. This was truly a season for the record books.

January 2006 - Congratulations to the St Anthony 88's for reaching the U19 Final in this year's Tampa Bay Sun Bowl's International Showcase Tournament. It was held during the Christmas holidays, December 27 - 30, 2005.

St Anthony 88s - Terracina Cup Champions 2005, Italy

July 2005 - Congratulations to our St Anthony 88's who travelled to Italy and won the Terracina Cup, 12th International Tournament "Riviera D'Ulisse" on July 10, 2005.


St Anthony 88s - U21 Ontario Cup Champions

August 2004 - The St. Anthony's U21 team are the 2004 Under 21 Men's Champions after winning the Ontario Cup. The Ottawa team advanced to the finals on Saturday, after their 3-0 victory over the Vaughan Shooters. The Ontario Cup final was played on Sunday, August 08, and the 3-1 victory for St. Anthony’s over the Mississauga Erin Mills Eagles was led by two goals of Abdullah Abundafeesa and one goal of Joshua Dewar-Morris. The Ontario Cup is the largest competition of its kind in Canada, involving over 600 teams, and is open to any competitively registered team in Ontario. The St. Anthony’s victory in the Ontario Cup finals is the first time for an Ottawa U21 Men's team.
